An early bottle of Glenfiddich 30-year-old in the old XXX presentation that was discontinued in 2010. This 75cl edition was bottled at 43% and has a B259 mark on the front label, so we believe this was bottled around 2006 for the South African market.
Glenfiddich 30-year-old from this era is fantastic stuff - mellow and easy to drink but with a superb complexity and depth of flavour on a medium-bodied palate. This is another great after-dinner dram and pairs well with a light or mediumweight cigar.
