A full strength 2009 Glenrothes 12-year-old bottled by Duncan Taylor for their Single Cask series. Cask 498963 was filled in December 2009 and bottled in March 2022.
There's no info available on cask type for this Glenrothes 2009, but with 386 bottles yielded at its cask strength of 54.6% and judging by the lightish colour it's most likely a second or third refill sherry cask, so this is a welcome opportunity to try a more 'natural' Glenrothes 12-year-old without the more common strong sherry influence.
