Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 56.9%
A single cask Highland Park 1987 35-year-old Island single malt whisky bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in 2023 without colouring or chill filtration for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength series.
This 35-year-old Highland Park 1987 slumbered in single cask 21604501, a refill bourbon barrel that yielded 131 bottles at a pleasingly poky 56.9% - a highly impressive natural cask strength and yield from a cask of this age and size, which is usually a very good sign for the whisky inside.

It’s a fabulous single malt - first discovered in holiday to Scotland. Small batch whisky and is mostly used as a main component of a blended whisky. Lovely smooth taste
The only way to drink an affordable and decent strength Macallan. A strong Sherry influence with a ‘vintage’ feel, akin to a Springbank 21 I drank 25 years ago when you could pick one up without bankrupting yourself
