This 1991 vintage Lagavulin was bottled for Diageo's 2012 Special Releases after full maturation in European oak sherry butts with only 2772 bottles produced at a natural strength of 52%.

A spectacular dram displaying a perfect balance between sweet sherry and deep, earthy peat and seaweed notes.

Magnificent and deservedly legendary whisky. Splendid and multi-layered, this mature malt delivers the expected Lagavulin intensity with elegance and style.

The deep amber colour introduces a rich nose with raisin fruit and welcoming smoke. Soft red fruits appear, then the aromas grow sweet with buttery complexity.
