Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 43%
A 16-year-old Littlemill 1991, bottled from a small batch of first fill ex-bourbon casks in 2007 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice range. This is from the era when G&M were beginning to up the strengths of their Connoisseurs Choice bottlings, so this Littlemill was released at 43%.
This 16-year-old 1991 Littlemill is a happy throwback to the days when bottlings from this overlooked lost Lowland distillery were easy to find. 1991 was the penultimate year in Littlemill's history before the distillery closed down for good, and as time goes on sadly the formerly abundant supply of indie bottlings of Littlemill has slowed to a trickle.

It’s a fabulous single malt - first discovered in holiday to Scotland. Small batch whisky and is mostly used as a main component of a blended whisky. Lovely smooth taste
The only way to drink an affordable and decent strength Macallan. A strong Sherry influence with a ‘vintage’ feel, akin to a Springbank 21 I drank 25 years ago when you could pick one up without bankrupting yourself
