Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 57.9%
A single cask Macallan 2005 18-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2024 by Gordon & MacPhail for their legendary Macallan Speymalt series.
This Speymalt Macallan 2005 18-year-old came from single cask 22606314, yielding 341 bottles in total at a very hefty natural cask strength of 57.9%. Macallan themselves would charge at least three or four times this much for a cask strength 18-year-old single cask these days, so it looks like G&M have pulled another superb value stunner out of the bag.

It’s a fabulous single malt - first discovered in holiday to Scotland. Small batch whisky and is mostly used as a main component of a blended whisky. Lovely smooth taste
The only way to drink an affordable and decent strength Macallan. A strong Sherry influence with a ‘vintage’ feel, akin to a Springbank 21 I drank 25 years ago when you could pick one up without bankrupting yourself
