Official Tasting Notes Colour: Rich mahogany. Aroma: Citrus, balanced with cinnamon, sherry and wood smoke. Palate: Full and rich, with dried fruits and a hint of wood smoke. Finish: Long, with dried fruit, wood smoke and spice.

Edradour may be the hidden gem of malts but this is a hidden gem in their line up. Dark, complex and satisfying, don't hesitate for a second, this is not to be missed at this price point.
Initial Smokey smell then a hint of pear drop.
Tried it without water and it had a sharp burning sensation on the palate as you would expect at this strength but once you added water the sharpness mellowed and the sweet vanilla taste came through.
