Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 59.8%

A milestone for Bruichladdich's Port Charlotte PC series, PC10 was the first 10-year-old in the PC series, distilled in 2002 and bottled in 2012. Port Charlotte is Bruichladdich's heavily-peated spirit, with a phenolicity of 40ppm - so not as outrageously OTT as Octomore but still packing a hefty peaty punch.

Port Charlotte PC10 Tro Na Linntean was matured solely in American oak casks that have contributed a natural sweetness to balance the smokiness, and was bottled at its full cask strength of 59.8% without colouring or chill filtration. Tro Na Linntean is Gaelic for Through the Generations, a reference to distillery manager Allan Logan, who took over at Bruichladdich after a decade under the guidance of the legendary Jim McEwan.
