Talisker 25-year-old made its official debut as part of the first run of Special Releases back in 2001 and has been a constant fan favourite ever since. Nowadays the strength has been standardised at Talisker's traditional 45.8% (the old 80 proof in the Imperial system), making this 25-year-old Talisker one of the great after-dinner drams, with a potent combination of sweetness, peppery spices and time-mellowed phenolic power.
