A very interesting Chieftain's bottling of 20-year-old Teaninich 1999 from Ian Macleod Distillers, who've bottled this Teaninich at its natural cask strength without colouring or chill filtration from a single barrel that yielded 232 bottles.
Teaninich is a great Highland whisky that is finally getting a bit of well-deserved recognition these days, but many of the recent independent bottlings are youngish, so it's great to see one with a bit of age on it. This should be splendid stuff.
